The Original And Still The Best
On behalf of the TMGC Executive, welcome to 2020 and the 40th season of the Tsawwassen Men’s Golf Club. Opening day will be Tuesday March 24th and tee times will be reserved for us from 12:30 to 2:30. Due to scheduling issues with the Tsawwassen Springs banquet facility, we will be holding the end of season banquet on Friday September 18 and we will continue playing for a couple of weeks after that to the end of September.
Your annual membership dues are held at $200 to include BC Golf fees, Tsawwassen Springs affiliation fee, final day banquet and hole in one insurance. The great news is that Tsawwassen Springs is holding the green and affiliation fees at 2019 levels, therefore as TMGC members you will pay green fees of $45 plus GST with a Springs card and $50 plus GST without a Springs card. Golf cart rental will be $18 per seat plus GST. 2020 Springs cards are available now for $99 and come loaded with $59 for use in the pro shop and/or Pat Quinn’s Restaurant and a $50 certificate for merchandise in the pro shop.
The 2020 Schedule is now on the web site at www.tmgc.ca and so far, there are two dates that the golf course is not available to us with alternate venues to be decided. There is also 1 date that we are playing at Tsawwassen Springs, but the banquet room is not available, so for that date our 19th hole celebrations will be in the lounge at the Rose & Crown with other dates at the Rose & Crown to be decided. We haven't yet approached Beach Grove to see if they will host us again this year, so we will alert you to changes and updates to the schedule going forward.
There are important changes to be aware of this season, specifically hole 2 is now the KP for handicap 0 - 8 and hole 17 is now open to all and because of the Golf Canada handicap changes our 3 levels of handicap for KP and long drive will now be 0 – 8, 9 – 15 and 16+.
